R.O.B.O.T.

While robots are certainly capable of extraordinary things, in the end robots can only do what they are programmed to do by their human creators, and since most programming languages require something to be defined and/or made available before it can be referenced, I think it's not too much of a leap to conclude that robots lack the capacity to surpass their own programming.

After all, computer programs are written and robots are built to perform repetitive and/or hazardous tasks. This is essential in the repetitive version to ensure things are always done the same way, assisting in quality control checks. As for hazardous jobs, the usefulness of a robotic proxy for flesh and blood cannot be understated.

Still, given how much time we spend each day glued to a screen of some kind or other, I think it's safe to say that if there could be a "robot apocalypse", it's already happened. :P

How long will he keep on fighting? How long will his pain last? Maybe only the X-Buster on his hand knows for sure...
