NEW YORK (AP) ? Stocks are edging lower on Wall Street in early trading, a day after the Dow Jones industrial average closed above 15,000 for the first time.
The Dow was down 22 points at 15,033 shortly after the opening bell Wednesday, a decline of 0.2 percent.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index was down a point at 1,624, a loss of 0.1 percent.
The Nasdaq composite was also down a point, less than 0.1 percent, at 3,395 points.
AOL's stock slumped 10 percent, or $4.41, to $57.15 after the online company reported profit that fell short of what financial analysts were looking for. AOL's subscription revenue fell 9 percent.
Whole Foods jumped 8 percent, or $7.39, to $100.36 after the grocer said its income rose 20 percent.
